Bill of Materials -  it's about the build

Intech has developed the BILL OF MATERIALS and MANUFACTURING system to suit most general manufacturing environments that operate on either a batch or continuous basis.

Forward planning features make it particularly well suited to businesses operating

with JIT principles.

It holds BOM structures (on a multi-level basis if required) and caters for

manufacturing operations, sub-assemblies, raw material and labour resources as

well as product assemblies.

The system integrates with Intech’s DEBTORS, STOCK or FABRICS applications. 

Component stock is maintained within the system while finished goods are

processed in either STOCK or FABRICS.

The BOM system maintains orders, receipts and stock on hand details for raw

materials.  A stock-take facility and stock valuation reports are also available.

The system will generate Production Orders and these may be optionally broken down into a series of bundles.  Scheduling and planning facilities are available.
